The new variant has a whopping 8 GB RAM unit as well as 256 GB internal storage. Unfortunately, none of the Xiaomi officials have revealed anything about this handset yet. Rest of the specifications of this handset remains same as the original Redmi Note 8.
Redmi Note 8 Price and Availability
Currently, the Redmi Note 8 is available in two variants in India – 4 GB RAM with 64 GB ROM and 6 GB RAM with 128 GB ROM. The 4 GB RAM variant costs ₹9,999 whereas the 6 GB variant is priced at ₹12,999. As of now, the 8 GB RAM variant’s price remains unknown.

Talking about the Redmi Note 8 specifications and features, the handset is built around a 6.39 inches full HD+ display with 2340×1080 pixels of resolution. Powering the smartphone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 665 processor which comes with an Adreno 610 graphics processing unit. Running on Android 9.0 based MIUI 11, the smartphone is available four color options – Cosmic Purple, Space Black, Moonlight White, and Neptune Blue.
Talking more about Redmi Note 8 specifications and features, the handset has an AI quad rear camera setup comprised of 48 MP (Samsung ISOCELL GM2 sensor, EIS, PDAF, and f/1.79 aperture), 8 MP (120-degree super wide-angle lens), 2 MP depth sensor, and 2 MP macro lens. At the front, Xiaomi has placed a 13 megapixels selfie shooter which has f/2.0 aperture and AI beauty mode.
